The caps material

The EEG cap is made of soft but very durable special sponge rubber material, with which the moisture-protected and pre-cabled silver-silver chloride EEG electrodes are firmly connected.

If required, for example with pulse wave artifacts or scar tissue, individual electrode positions can be changed.

 

The application is very simple!

Comby EEG caps are uncomplicated to use, quick to put on, easy to clean and disinfect, comfortable for the patient to wear and the silver-silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes provide precise signals.

After you have selected the appropriate cap and put it on the patient, apply some conductive gel under the electrodes, for example with a cotton swab or a syringe filled with gel, by lifting them slightly. The rule here is that less is more! 

The electrodes are designed in such a way that only a little conductive gel needs to be inserted to establish contact between the scalp and the electrode.

After successful impedance measurement, you can already start with the EEG recording.

Cleaning and disinfection

After the EEG has been conducted, the Comby EEG cap is rinsed under running water and sprayed with a disinfectant (e.g. Cutasept F, skin disinfectant) or placed in Korolex extra disinfectant for a few minutes and then briefly rinsed under running water.

The Comby EEG cap dries in a short time and can be used again quickly.
